Privacy Policy
This site uses cookies, both our own and those of third parties, to offer you a high-quality user experience, to measure the size of the audience and to display personalized advertisements. By using dravez.com, you agree to our use of this technology. For more information about cookies and how you can manage them, please see our privacy policy.
Definitions
Personal data: Any information relating to a natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly.
Processing of personal data: any operation or set of operations which is performed upon such data, irrespective of the process used, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction, etc.
Cookie: A cookie is a small computer file, a tracer, that is placed and read, for example, when a website is consulted, an e-mail is read, software or a mobile application is installed or used, regardless of the type of terminal used (computer, smartphone, digital reader, video game console connected to the internet, etc.).
Our privacy policy
In this data protection charter, we inform you about the processing of your personal data when you use our website.
Personal data is information about an identified person. This data includes, in particular, information from which your identity can be derived, for example your name, telephone number, postal address or e-mail address.
Statistical data that we collect, for example, when you visit our site and that cannot be personally linked to you, is not personal data.
You can print or save this privacy policy (for example as a PDF file) using the usual functions of your browser.
What data is collected?
Every time you use our website, we collect the data that your browser automatically transmits to enable you to visit our site. This data includes:
* The IP address of the device being used,
* The date and time of the visit,
* The address of the website visited and accessed
* Technical information about the browser and operating system used on the end device.
Data processing is essential to enable you to visit the site and to guarantee the long-term security of our systems. The aforementioned data is stored for the aforementioned purposes and temporarily in internal log files to compile statistics on the use of our website and its development based on the usage habits of our visitors (e.g. when visits increasingly take place from mobile devices) and for the general administration of our website. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
No direct conclusions about you can be drawn from the information stored in the log files. In particular, we only store IP addresses in abbreviated form. Log files are stored for 30 days and then deleted.
What types of cookies are used?
- Session cookies (as described above)
Permanent cookies. Permanent cookies allow websites to record your preferences for each new visit. For example, if you choose to read content in French on your first visit, the site will automatically display in French on your next visit. Because you do not have to indicate your language preferences on each visit, browsing is more practical, efficient and intuitive.
* Advertising cookies. These cookies can be used to find out more about your areas of interest, for example based on the websites you visit or the products you buy. They can also help us find out your age, marital status or the number of children you have. With this information, we can send you advertisements for products or services tailored to your tastes or needs. It also allows us to limit the number of times you see these advertisements.
* Analytical cookies. These cookies tell us how our sites are performing. We typically use Google Analytics cookies to study the performance of our sites. Our ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our sites is subject to the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.
What other technologies are used?
Pixels. Pixels, also known as 'tags', 'web bugs' or 'pixel gifs', are tiny invisible objects that are embedded in a web page. We use pixels to send cookies to your computer, to monitor activity on our sites, to facilitate connection to our sites and to manage our online marketing activities. Our promotional emails and newsletters also contain pixels that tell us whether the message has been opened and what your interactions are.
What is the purpose of cookies for a subscription formula?
You have the option of subscribing to our online shop so that you can use all the functions of our site and purchase our products. You acknowledge the mandatory data that you enter in the input fields when you register or place an order (first and last name, e-mail address and password, payment details and billing and shipping address). Registration is impossible without this data, as it is essential for the fulfillment of the contract. This is why we use cookies. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Are cookies used for payments?
We offer credit card payments for orders in our online shop. In this regard, we work with payment service providers from whom we obtain or pass on your payment details. Without these payment details and service providers, it would not be possible to process payments and payment contracts. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Our subcontractors to whom your personal data may be passed on if necessary are:
PAYPAL online banking and payment services
STRIPE online banking and payment services
MOLLIE online banking and payment services
During your visit to the site, we use session cookies to help you remember your products when you visit our site: Internet pages have no memory. Session cookies remember you (using a random identifier such as ABC12345) when you navigate from page to page, so you do not need to provide information that you have already provided on the site. Session cookies are very useful when, for example, you add products to your shopping cart: without these cookies, the products in your shopping cart would disappear when you go to the checkout. These cookies are deleted as soon as you leave our site or close your browser.
For more information about Paypal, please consult the Paypal terms of use.
For more information about Stripe, we recommend that you consult Stripe's terms of use.
For more information about Mollie, we recommend that you consult Mollie's terms of use.
How are your contact and customer service details used?
You can contact us in various ways (for example, via email or chat). In this context, we use your data exclusively to communicate with you. Without this data, we cannot communicate with you. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Who besides Dravez can access your data?
We use external suppliers. These suppliers will only collect, use and disclose your data to the extent necessary for the proper use of the services they have us perform.
Some of our suppliers have their own confidentiality policies (payment gateways, for example). We invite you to consult their terms of use if you have any questions.
What levels do you work with?
Besides payment providers, we mainly work with subcontractors:
* Shopify Inc. - Privacy Policy - Terms of Use
* Google - Privacy Policy - Terms of Use
* Meta - Privacy Policy - Terms of Use
* Pinterest - Privacy Policy - Terms of Use
* Logistics
* Transportation
We make very limited use of third-party applications and ensure that non-essential information about order processing is never disclosed.
Shopify Inc.
The Dravez website is hosted on Shopify Inc. This platform enables us to sell our products and services online. Your personal data is therefore stored in Shopify's databases and on the Shopify application. This server is secure and protected by a firewall.
My personal payment information on Shopify
When you buy products on our site and use a direct payment gateway, Shopify stores your credit card data. This information is encrypted using the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Information about your purchase transaction is stored during your order until it is finalized. When your order is finalized, your transaction data is deleted.
What is the PCI-DSS standard?
It is a standard that protects all gateways for direct payments. This standard is managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which brings together payment companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The PCI-DSS standard guarantees the secure processing of credit card data used in our shop and by other service providers.
For more information about Shopify, we recommend that you consult the Shopify Terms of Use.
Google
How does Google use information collected through websites or applications that use their services?
Like many website and application owners, we use Google services to improve our content. Because we are integrated into their services, we share information with them.
How does this work?
For example, when you visit a website that uses advertising services such as AdSense (including analytics programs such as Google Analytics) or includes YouTube video content, your web browser automatically sends certain information to Google. This information includes the URL of the page you are visiting and your IP address. Google can also place cookies in your browser or read existing cookies. Applications that use our advertising services also share information with us, such as the name of the application and a unique advertising ID.
The data shared by websites and apps helps Google to provide, manage, and improve our services; develop new services; measure the effectiveness of advertising; protect us from fraudulent activity and abuse; and customize the content and ads displayed on Google and our partners' websites and apps. If you want to know how Google handles data in these different situations, please refer to their Privacy Policy. Go to the Advertising page for more information about Google ads, how your data is used for advertising purposes, and how long Google keeps your data.
Google's Privacy Policy explains the legal basis for Google to process your data. For example, Google may process your data with your consent or for legitimate business purposes (usually to provide, maintain, and improve our services to meet the needs of our users).
Because our website provides Google with information about you, we first ask for your permission before allowing Google to process this information. For example, a banner may appear on our site asking you to authorize the processing of the information collected by this site by Google. In this case, Google will respect the purposes described in the consent you gave to our site rather than the legal bases described in the Privacy Policy. If you want to modify or withdraw your consent, please visit the Personal Data page of our site.
Personalization of advertisements
When advertisement personalization is enabled, Google uses your information to show you more useful advertisements. A website that sells hairbrushes, for example, can use Google's advertisement services. So if you visit our website and then go to another website that displays Google advertisements, you may see an advertisement for hairbrushes.
When ad personalization is turned off, Google will not collect or use your data to create an ad profile or to personalize the ads that Google shows you. You will still see ads, but they probably won't be as useful. They may still be based on the theme of the website or application you are looking for, the search terms you have used or your location. However, they will not take into account your interests, search history or browsing history. Your information may be used in the other situations mentioned above, including to evaluate the effectiveness of advertisements and to protect against fraudulent activities and abuse.
When you visit our website using Google services, you may be asked whether you wish to receive personalized ads from various advertisers, including Google. Regardless of your choice, Google will not personalize the ads you see if your ad personalization setting is turned off or if your account is not eligible for this type of ad.
Control over what information Google sends to our site
Here are some ways you can control what data is sent to your device when you visit or use sites and applications that use Google services:
* The Ads Settings tool allows you to control the ads you see on Google services (such as Google Search and YouTube) or on non-Google websites and applications that use Google advertising services. Click here for more information about ad personalization and how to turn off this feature and block certain advertisers.
* If you are signed in to your Google Account and depending on your Google Account settings, you can view and manage the data that is created when you use Google services on the My Activities page, including data we collect from sites or applications you use. You can browse this page by date and topic and delete some or all of your activity.
* Many website and app owners use Google Analytics to gain insight into how visitors interact with their sites or apps. If you don't want your browser to use Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn more about Google Analytics and confidentiality
* Google Chrome's private browsing mode allows you to browse the web without saving web pages or files to your browser history or account (unless you choose to log in). Cookies are deleted when you close windows and tabs opened in this mode. Your bookmarks and settings will be saved until you choose to delete them. Learn more about cookies
* In many browsers, including Chrome, you can block third-party cookies. You can also delete existing cookies from your browser. More information about managing cookies in Google Chrome
Google Analytics, an analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze and improve our website based on your user behavior. The information collected in this context can be transferred to a server of the company in the USA and stored there. In the event that personal data is transferred to the US, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield. However, your IP address is shortened by Google Analytics before it is used, so that it is not possible to trace it back to you. Google Analytics has therefore added the code “anonymizeIP” to our website to ensure that IP addresses are recorded anonymously. Google processes the information collected by Google Analytics via cookies to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website administrator and to provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google AdWords Conversion Tracking cookies normally remain active on your computer for around 30 days. If you visit our website during this period, we and Google will be informed that you have seen the display offered.
Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
Google Remarketing. These Google services (Google AdWords Conversion Tracking and Google Remarketing) also use cookies and similar technologies to measure the performance of advertised ads (so-called AdWords campaigns) and to display personalized advertising messages on websites that collaborate with Google.
For more information about Google's services, we recommend that you consult Google's terms of use.
YouTube
Our site may contain third-party content, such as videos from YouTube. This always means that the providers of this content know your IP address. Without an IP address, it would not be possible to send the content to your browser. The IP address is essential for displaying the content. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(b) f GDPR.
We strive to only use content from providers who guarantee that they will only use your IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no control over whether third-party providers store the IP address, for example for statistical purposes.
We have integrated videos that have been recorded on YouTube into our website and these can be viewed directly from our website. YouTube is a multimedia service provided by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”), a company in the Google LLC group, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). In the event that personal data is transferred to the United States, Google and YouTube are subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in the integration of videos and images.
When you visit our website, YouTube and Google receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This happens regardless of whether you are logged in to YouTube or Google. YouTube and Google use this data for the purposes of advertising, market research and, if necessary, website design. If you visit YouTube from our website while you are logged in to your YouTube or Google account, these sites can link this event to the corresponding profiles. If you want to prevent this linking of information, you must log out of your Google account before you visit our website.
You can set your browser not to accept cookies, or you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the information generated by the cookie about your use of this website by disabling the “personalized ads” feature in Google's ad settings. In this case, Google will only display non-personalized ads.
More information can be found in Google's privacy policy, which also applies to YouTube.
Meta
Meta uses the information they collect to provide you with a personalized experience, including advertisements, and for the other purposes explained in more detail below.
For some of these purposes, they use information about their products and your device. The information they use for these purposes is processed automatically by their systems. But in some cases, they also use manual checks to access your information and reviewers.
In order to use less information linked to individual users, they de-identify or aggregate the information in some cases. They can also anonymize the information so that you can no longer be identified with it. They use this information in the same way as your information as described in this section.
This is how they use your information:
To offer, personalize and improve their products
Meta uses the information it has to offer and improve its products. This includes customizing features, content and, like your Facebook Feed, Instagram Feed, Stories and advertisements. They use information with special protections that you choose to provide for these purposes, but not to show you advertisements.
Advertisement personalization
When ad personalization is enabled, Meta uses your information to show you more useful ads. For example, a website that sells hairbrushes is likely using Meta's ad services. So if you visit our site and then go to another site that displays Meta ads, you may see an ad for hairbrushes.
If ad personalization is disabled, Meta will not collect or use any information about you to create an ad profile or to personalize the ads that Meta shows you. You will still see ads, but they probably will not be as useful. They may still be based on the theme of the website or application you are looking for, the search terms you have used or your geographical location. However, they will not take into account your interests, search history or browsing history. Your information may be used in the other situations mentioned above, including to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising and to protect against fraudulent activities and abuse.
When you interact with our website via Meta services, you may be asked if you wish to receive personalized advertisements from various advertisers, including Meta. Regardless of your choice, Meta will not personalize the advertisements you see if your ad personalization setting is disabled or if your account is not eligible for this type of advertisement.
Facebook Pixel from Meta, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA (“Facebook”).
When you visit our website, these tags create a link between your browser and a Facebook server. This informs Facebook that our website has been visited using your IP address. In the event that personal data is transferred to the United States, Facebook is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield. Facebook uses this information to provide anonymous statistical data about the general use of our website and about the effectiveness of our Facebook advertising (“Facebook Ads”). If you do not have a Facebook account, you can stop your data from being processed by Facebook by confirming the deactivation for the “Facebook” provider on the TRUSTe website. This prevents the collection of Facebook pixels within this site (the opt-out only works in the browser and only for this domain). You can find more information on this subject in Facebook's data usage policy.
Because our website provides meta information about you, we first ask your permission before allowing Meta to process this information. For example, a banner may appear on our site asking you to give Pinterest permission to process the information collected by that site. In this case, Pinterest will comply with the purposes described in the consent you have given to our site and not with the legal bases described in the Privacy Policy. If you want to change or withdraw your consent, go to the Personal Data page on our site.

Pinterest
Pinterest can also obtain information about you and your company outside of Pinterest.
* We share information with Pinterest to measure, improve, or report on the effectiveness of advertisements on Pinterest, or to determine what types of advertisements are appropriate to show you on Pinterest or elsewhere. This information includes your visits to our website or purchases with us, or information collected about your interests, which Pinterest can use to offer you advertisements. More information about the types of data we share with Pinterest.
You can determine how we use this data to personalize your experience and the advertisements you see on Pinterest in your Pinterest privacy and data sharing settings.
Advertisement personalization
When ad personalization is enabled, Pinterest uses your data to show you more useful ads. For example, a website that sells hairbrushes is likely using Pinterest's ad services. So if you visit our website and then go to another website with Pinterest ads, you may see an ad for hairbrushes there.
When personalization of advertisements is disabled, Pinterest does not collect or use any of your data to create an advertisement profile or to personalize the advertisements that Pinterest shows you. You will still see ads, but they probably won't be as useful. They may still be based on the theme of the website or app you are looking for, search terms you have used, or your geographic location. However, they will not take into account your interests, search history or browsing history. Your data may be used in the other situations mentioned above, including to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising and to provide protection against fraudulent activities and abuse.
When you interact with our website through Pinterest services, you may be asked whether you wish to receive personalized advertisements from various advertisers, including Pinterest. Regardless of your choice, we will not personalize the advertisements you see if your advertising personalization settings are disabled or if your account is not eligible for this type of advertisement.
Because our website provides information about you to Pinterest, we first ask for your permission before allowing Pinterest to process this information. For example, a banner may appear on our site asking you to authorize Pinterest to process the data collected by this site. In that case, Pinterest will follow the purposes described in the consent you gave to our site instead of the legal bases described in the Privacy Policy. If you want to change or withdraw your consent, go to the Personal Data page of our site.
Do you pass on my data to other agents?
The data we collect is only passed on if this is necessary for the execution of the contract or the provision of the technical functions of the website or online shop, or if there is an external legal basis for the transfer of the data (e.g. if we are legally obliged to pass on data (information to the judicial authorities and courts, to public services that obtain the information on the basis of legal provisions, e.g. social security authorities, tax authorities, etc.)
Some of the data processing is carried out by service providers. This includes IT centers that make backups of our website and databases, IT service providers that maintain our system, logistics and shipping services, and consultancy agencies. If we pass on information to service providers, they may only use it to carry out their tasks. We have selected and hired our service providers with the utmost care. They are contractually bound by our guidelines and professional confidentiality, and we check them regularly.
How long do you keep your data?
In principle, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the contractual or legal obligations for which we have obtained it. After that, we delete the information immediately, unless we still need it until the expiration of the legal statute of limitations for documentary purposes for civil law actions, or because of legal archiving obligations.
For example, we must retain contractual information for three years from the end of the year in which our business relationship with you ended for evidence purposes. The reason for this is that any claim expires at the earliest after the statutory limitation period.
We must also retain some of your data after the limitation period. We are obliged to do so due to legal documentation obligations that may arise from the Commercial Code, tax legislation, banking legislation, the Money Laundering Act and the Securities Trading Act. The applicable document archiving periods vary from two to ten years.
What are your rights?
You have the right to ask us questions about the processing of your personal data at any time. We will explain to you how we process your data and provide you with an overview of the data we have stored about you.
If the data we have stored is incorrect or no longer up to date, you have the right to have it corrected.
You can also request that your data be deleted. If deletion is exceptionally impossible due to other legal regulations, the data will be blocked in such a way that it is only available for legal purposes.
You can also request that the processing of your personal data be restricted if, for example, you dispute the accuracy of the data.
You also have the right to data portability, which means that we can send you a digital copy of the personal data you have provided to us, upon your request.
In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your data, for which the legal basis is indicated in Art. 6, paragraph 1, lit. f GDPR, if this is justified by a special personal situation or if the objection is directed against the mailing. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which also applies without you having to state a reason. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. As a result, we will no longer process data based on this consent in the future. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of the data processing that was carried out based on your consent prior to the withdrawal.
If you want to access the personal data we have about you and you want to correct, change or delete it, go to the My Personal Data page.
What measures have been taken to guarantee the security of your data?
We apply current technical measures to guarantee the security of data, in particular to protect your personal data against dangers during the transfer of data and against third parties who gain knowledge of it. These measures are adapted to the current state of the art. To protect the personal information you enter on the website, we use the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) standard, which encrypts the information you enter.
In case of data theft
If, despite all the precautions taken by EP PUBLISHING and its subcontractors, some of your personal data is stolen, compromised or deleted, EP PUBLISHING undertakes to inform you within the legal deadline and in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. This legal obligation to inform you may not be interpreted as an acknowledgment of liability or negligence on the part of EP PUBLISHING or its subcontractors.
Will this charter be amended?
We amend this data protection charter from time to time, for example when we modify our website or when there are changes in data protection legislation.
